I am a retired teacher with active teaching license. I taught grades K-5th for 30 years. I tutored students after school as needed. I am doing this as I miss teaching but want small groups or one on one. I have Master's Degree in Tech. in ED. also. I was awarded a Superintendent Award once. I love teaching!

I use humor, my experience, personally connecting to a child, and use the level they are at to build upon. See what interests them and use that to motivate and teach. I also know Brain Gym activities to use both sides of their brain, using cross lateral moves and drawing techniques to get them to use all parts of their brain. My hobbies are exercise, lifting light weights, reading, shooting baskets, gardening, watching my grandkids, 5 of them. I enjoy mountain trips and love going to CA. to see the ocean and tide pools.
