Education
I received a BA with honors in English from UAB in 2004, and a Master's degree in secondary education from Denver University in 2011.
Experience
I am currently a high school English teacher in my third year of teaching. I have also taught and tutored students in English at the college level. I scored in the 96th percentile on the English Praxis, which is a qualifying exam for becoming an English teacher. Although I teach high school, I have experience working with younger children as well, through church youth groups and prior experience as a dance teacher. At this point I am tutoring to supplement my income.
