I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a B.S. in Neuroscience. I have always had a love for teaching and learning, and have been tutoring students since I was a student in high school. I find myself to be particularly strong in being able to teach using many different perspectives to help my students solve their problems.I am an outgoing person who enjoys building personal relationships with my students, and I work hard to make them feel comfortable and enthusiastic about asking questions. With an open channel of communication, I am able to learn more about the student's needs, and then adjust my lesson to better accommodate him or her. Moreover, I believe that not only the student, but the parents as well, play an important role in how well the student's learning experience will be. Because of this, I also work to maintain the same level of communication with the parents, ensuring that they too play a role in the student's learning.I have seen firsthand that, with my approach to tutoring, students have been able to improve their test scores and boost their confidence. My goal is to give my students a better understanding of their subjects, so that they are able to use their knowledge to solve their problems independently.
