University of Colorado - BA, French, international studies

At the moment, I am working hard to obtain my bachelor's degree in French and International Studies from CU Denver. However, I do have more than a year's worth of hands on experience tutoring in a wide variety of subject matters. I do find that I tend to be most helpful for students who are twelve years old or younger. However, I am a great deal of help to high school and college level students who need help with their French and English.I take the time to help my tutoring students hone in on their written and verbal communication skills as these are the foundation for much of what they will need in life. I do my best to help my students think critically by allowing them find the one answer that can be found in a variety of different ways. I would say that my tutoring style is 70% preparation and 30% improvisation and that has worked well for my students.During my spare time, I enjoy writing, reading, baking, hiking, and cycling. I also find a lot of joy in drawing and playing the game Sims 3.
