The French language is one of my passions. I have both practical and professional experience in teaching it, and I love the idea of sharing the fun of learning and using the language, both written and spoken. While I live in Colorado now, I am pursuing my degree in physical therapy (my original degree was a B.S. in Health and Exercise from University of Oklahoma). I also acquired a minor in French from Oklahoma. During college, I spent a semester abroad in France. After graduation, I returned to France to work and travel, and I was there for 2 and a half years. I took additional classes in French, and I passed my DALF C2 exam, which showed a highest level of competence. I was then able to spend a year as an English teacher within the French school system. After that, I was hired as an English professor at the University of Blaise Pascal. I continued to tutor private students during my tenure. While I loved my time in France, I am happily back home and looking forward to continuing my tutoring. My personal goal is to teach students to love both the writing, reading, and speaking aspects of the French language. I am very casual and laidback in my personal life. I love the outdoors. I really thrive here in the Colorado environment. I enjoy hiking, climbing, rafting, and skiing. I currently reside in Aurora, Colorado.
