Education

Trinity University - BS, Biology

Experience

I am an experienced tutor, and I have helped high school students with their math and science classes. I can tutor anyone in science (including anatomy, biology, chemistry, physics, physiology, biochemistry, physical science, life sciences, evolutionary biology, and others), math courses ranging from basic arithmetic to algebra 2, and Spanish 1 and 2. I can also help students prepare for the ACT test. I earned my bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish at Trinity University. I am currently studying at UCD, focusing on physical therapy. When I tutor, I strive to help my students develop a strong understanding of the concepts of a subject, so they can succeed now and in the future. I also like to help them learn problem-solving methods and methods of organization. In addition, I like to help students begin to enjoy the learning experience and even become enthusiastic about learning. When not studying or tutoring, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with friends. My favorite outdoor activities include hiking and running.
