I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with concentrations in education. I currently teach and hold tutoring roles at Hillcrest and Bremen high schools in the southern Chicagoland area. I specialize in teaching mathematics, including algebra, elementary to middle school math, pre-calculus, statistics, and trigonometry. I am also skilled in physics, essay writing and editing, grammar and mechanics, ACT and other standardized test preparation, and ASPIRE courses. I have a keen skill in helping students grasp challenging subject material and pursued an education career to apply that talent. Beginning in my high school years I offered my help to friends and classmates and quickly recognized a natural ability to be a leader in a teaching capacity. I enjoy connecting with my students and being part of that moment when they realize a full comprehension of a subject or specific problem. My hobbies and interests include guitars, cooking, motorcycles and bicycles, hockey, and exercise.
